The old saying “Time is Money” can be used to describe one of the most attractive benefits of modular technology – time savings. Modular buildings can be completed in weeks rather than months due to the climate controlled environment they are built in, and it’s not just homeowners enjoying the time savings anymore. More and more businesses are choosing modular construction for their buildings and offices. One of the most recent is the international hospitality chain, Marriott.
In Folsom, California, Marriott International broke ground for the brand new Folsom Fairfield Inn & Suites on March 1, 2016. Over 150 developers, contractors, architects and Marriott executives were on hand to witness the crane installation of the first Marriott modular structure. It will be made up of 52 modules comprising 97 units. Built by Guerdon Modular Buildings in their Idaho facility, the modules were ready in a few weeks. The setting of the units took less than a week – only four days. The entire structure was built and placed in about two months
NTA has a number of videos available on our website to demonstrate some common testing methods. Ever wonder how Formaldehyde testing is done? Or perhaps what a "Missile Impact" test is? Find these and more on our video demonstration web page.
